Winter semester is over with!!!
Hallelujah!
So now I can show you what we have been doing for that past few months.. Besides school that is.We have been going to the beach a lot (who would have thought) a hike to maunawili falls, bon fires with friends, and babyshowers. (pretty much all my friends are pregnant)So we will start with Maunawili falls. It was a beautiful hike and then me made it the the water fall where I think the whole army was there with their sailor mouths, smoking, and being gross. Hahah, it wasn't that bad but their were so many weirdo army guys. So when we first walk in we see this sign that say's Warning Leptospirosis!!!! What the heck is that!? Sounds just as nasty as the sign looked!!

We also went to Kahana bay and had a bon fire with our friends. We roasted hotdogs and made smores. MMmm. Our friends were looking for wood for the fire and they drove by someones house who had a bunch of old wood in their yard and asked if they could have it. Pretty much they cleaned their yard up for them. Hahah while we were burning it, it smelled like tar really bad. Hahah.. But all in all it was an awesome night..

My friend Rose had a really cute baby shower last week. She is due so soooon. Im so excited to meet her little baby. I hold my hand on her stomach all the time. Her baby kicks like crazy!

And we can't forget about Kahana and Hugh.. They are getting so big! I love being able to see them grow everyday! David even loves these little boys now. At first he wouldn't touch them. But now he will watch them by himself! They love David so much!

Leptospirosis:is a bacterial zoonotic disease caused by spirochaetes. It is a "acute infectious disease with enlargement of spleen, jaundice and nephritis". Leptospirosis is transmitted by the urine of an infected animal, and is contagious as long as it is still moist.Humans become infected through contact with water, food, or soil containing urine from these infected animals. In humans, leptospiral infection causes a wide range of symptoms, and some infected persons may have no symptoms at all. Leptospirosis is a biphasic disease that begins with flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, myalgias, intense headache). The first phase resolves, and the patient is briefly asymptomatic until the second phase begins. This is characterized by meningitis, liver damage (causing jaundice), and renal failure; because of the wide range of symptoms the infection is often wrongly diagnosed. This leads to a lower registered number of cases than there really are. Symptoms of leptospirosis include high fever, severe headache, chills, muscle aches, and vomiting, and may include jaundice, red eyes, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and/or a rash. The symptoms in humans appear after a 4-14 day incubation period.'
