Camping!

Our Ward went camping over the weekend! We had a lot of fun. We made foil dinners, roasted marshmallows,people sang songs and played their guitars and this crazy little keyboard thing that you blow through a straw and it makes the coolest sounds. It all sounded awesome. Later on that night we went crab hunting, that was funny. I was to afraid to pick them up. David and I fell asleep while everyone stayed up late cooking and eating the crabs. The next morning we played ultimate Frisbee, and swam to goats island. That was fun and creepy. I didn't have shoes so I swam across since its all reef i was like hyperventilating through my snorkel because the waves were crashing on me and all I wanted to do was be able to stand and rest for a second but I couldn't. Towards the end of the swim the water was so shallow that the reef was almost scraping across my stomach. I just decided to stand and walk on it. I stood and then a wave hit me and I fell so another guy from our ward gave me his water shoes and he walked on it. That was nice of him. David didn't have shoes either but he swam a different way so he didn't have to walk on the reef. I look nasty in the pictures. But Im pretty sure that is how it works when you camp!
