Parasailing...Scuba to come.

On Saturday we went parasailing and scuba diving. It was awesome. David and I did this same package on our honeymoon but we chose Hawaii Kai this time instead of Waikiki and it was so much better. Harrison and I saw a shark while we were in the air! It was crazy! It was pretty big and it was swimming fast! They dunked us in the water which I think is the scariest part. The cool thing is I got to go two times!! With Harrison and David.. When I went with David they dunked us but we went pretty far under and they tried to pull us up but instead we were just drug in the water for a awhile!
It was funny.. We have some scuba diving pictures that are being sent to us so when I get those I will post them up. After scuba diving we were able to snorkel and swim or jump off the boat. It was all around an awesome day..Ohhh and the cool part is.... We were 1000 feet in the air! This summer has been so much fun. I'm glad Harrison was able to come stay with us. He has made our apartment very interesting, it will definitely be weird and quiet when he is gone..

The other sunday our neighbor Elizabeth did Harrison's hair in cornrows. Harrison has been wanting us to do stuff to his hair for a while so he was pretty excited when his hair was finaly done. Elizabeth did a good job!!

We were also in town and found this store!! It even reminds me of Mom.. We had to get a picture!

Outings...

Here are some pictures from a pot luck, coconut husking, and spearfishing.
We had a pot luck for a our couple missionaries in our ward. They are getting ready to go back home. We have been able to get to know them and they will be greatly missed. They are the nicest people. I'm glad we were able to meet them and grow from their testimonies as well. At the pot luck they split people in to teams and you had to husk a coconut, crack it open, and put the juice in a cup to see who could fill their cup up the fullest.

David and his friend Jared took Harrison spearfishing. He did better then I thought he would. No one caught anything, but I was surprised to see Harrison swim so far out in the water. He came back with in 30 mins because he was tired but the other two boys stayed for a few hours. Harrison laid out and soaked up the sun, and went on many coconut hunts. He didn't find any. We went to a beach on the front side of turtle bay. It is one of my favorite beaches. Very secluded and beautiful.

Hiking!!

Yesterday we woke up and decided to hike Diamond head. Diamond head is the most famous volcanic crater in the world. David wasn't to excited to hike it but he ended up really enjoying it. You hiked up a paved road, up lots of stairs, through a tunnel, more stairs, and more stairs.. Some of the stairs were pretty steep. We passed by some old world war 1 bunkers and ended the hike in an old bunker which you climb out of and see all of Honolulu. Which the view was really beautiful. There was a light house below us. The hike up was pretty ugly since everything was so dry and dead. We really liked this hike! Since we enjoyed it so much we decided to go on another hike, and explore around some.

We drove to Haunauma Bay and looked around. We will have to take Harrison back so he can snorkel. That place it just always sooooo packed. From above the water you see more bodies then the reef! (not really) but the water was crowded with people. We stayed there for a bit and then took harrison to see sandy's beach and another bay that David has scuba dived and really likes. After these few places we decided to hike Mokapu lighthouse.

Mokapu Lighthouse was a fun hike. The lighthouse was pretty dang small.. I was thinking it would be bigger but it was still cute! This hike was a paved road as well, but it was windy and all up hill! Good work out. And what kind of day would it be if I didn't get a picture of me jumping? Hahah... I jump a lot! We had a lot of fun and are glad we took the whole day to see beautiful Hawaii. We really do love this place so much! (We took a lot of pics, so the ones that I don't post here will be on facebook.)

Fun in the sun.. Plus the Fourth.. And more

We have been hittin' up the beach almost everyday and enjoying the nice weather. Harrison is getting better and better at surfing. He is trying to get a good tan so he lays out a lot as well.

The boys have been playing with guns.. (a dragonoff??) Its a gun from Halo I guess.

We have been drinking coconut juice and eating shaved ice. Harrison did not like the coconut juice at all.

Our Fourth of July was fun.. We went with some friends to dinner to celebrate Asharas birthday. We missed the Turtle bay fireworks so we went how and lit off a few of our own. Sunday we had a yummy BBQ. I was doing the dishes while Harrison and David were outside cooking the chicken when I hear laughing. I look out side and David is pushing Harrison on the swing. These two crack me up everyday. Harrison and I also did face masks.. (the little sister I always wanted)
